چکیده
Agroforestry is considered a means to provide sustainable and productive agriculture. This work aims study the effect of fruit-grass agroforestry patterns on soil moisture, salinity, growth, yield fruit trees, as well reference for development complex systems in Northwest China. The has been designed with two cropping patterns: monocropped apple apple-ryegrass intercropping. results showed that compared apples, intercropped apples have increased moisture content by 33.38–39.02%, net photosynthetic rate 35.33–42.26%, transpiration 29.62–29.76%, stomatal conductance 15.65–16.55% 0–60 cm layer. Intercrop reduced total salt 36.41–38.58%, intercellular CO2 concentration decreased 5.96–6.61%. In addition, intercropping improves quality improving orchard environment increasing tree height, breast north-south crown spread, east-west spread. Therefore, can be achieved changing ryegrass planting method, which beneficial agriculture

Assessing Soil Health for Tree Fruit and Vine Crops
What is soil health? The objective of this presentation is to present information on the types of measurements of soil biological properties that might be useful as bio-indicators of soil health. First, however, it is necessary to discuss what soil health means. Scientists, farmers and land managers have long known that there is more to the productive capacity of soil than what can be predicted...
متن کاملFruit tree model for uptake of organic compounds from soil.
Apples and other fruits are frequently cultivated in gardens and are part of our daily diet. Uptake of pollutants into apples may therefore contribute to the human daily intake of toxic substances. In current risk assessment of polluted soils, regressions or models are in use, which were not intended to be used for tree fruits. A simple model for uptake of neutral organic contaminants into frui...
متن کاملEffect of salinity on tomato fruit ripening.
Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) plants from various cultivars growing on half-strength Hoagland solution were exposed at anthesis to 3 or 6 grams per liter NaCl. Salinity shortened the time of fruit development by 4 to 15%. Fruits of salt-treated plants were smaller and tasted better than did fruits of control plants. This result was obtained both for ripe fruits tested on the day of pick...
متن کاملThe Effect of Fruit Trees Pruning Waste Biochar on some Soil Biological Properties under Rhizobox Conditions
The pyrolysis of fruit trees Pruning waste to be converted to biochar with microbial inoculation is a strategy improving the biological properties in calcareous soils. In order to investigate the biochar effect on some soil biological properties of the soil in the presence of microorganisms, a factorial experiment was carried out in a completely randomized design in the rhizobox under greenhous...
متن کاملMulching as an alternative technique for weed management in mandarin orchard tree rows
Moving towards sustainable agriculture implies exploring the interconnections between farming and the environment, and soil is a key component of sustainability. Mulching is one of the methods to protect and enhance the productivity of the soil. We studied here the effect of mulching applied to mandarin tree rows for weed control in two localities near Tortosa, Spain, to compare its performance...
